Welcome: This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be Glad in it. 10.30.2010

Today I am writing about Psalm 25. I want (we should all want) to be so much in love with God that we would willingly do anything for Him. The love I am speaking about is the worship and adoration of God.

Oh God help us to be so in love with you we would go anywhere and do anything for you. We love you. We want to love you more we want all you have to offer. Father we want everything that is available to us. Help us get to that point. I want to be in tune with you, to hear and anticipate you thoughts. Amen

Good Morning today is Saturday 10.30.2010

I know the enemy of your soul and spirit will at times rage with in you and we must crush his advances.

In Psalm 51 it states :

    1HAVE MERCY upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions.
    2Wash me thoroughly [and repeatedly] from my iniquity and guilt and cleanse me and make me wholly pure from my sin!

    3For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; my sin is ever before me.

    4Against You, You only, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified in Your sentence and faultless in Your judgment.(A)

    5Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful].(B)

    6Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.

    7Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow.

    8Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

    9Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities.

    10Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.

    11Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.

    12Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

    13Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.

When our mind is flooded with sin what do we do?

Check out Philippians 4:8 (King James Version)
8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Praise God for His Mercy and Grace.

Psalm 51

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had sinned with Bathsheba.

    13Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.
    14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Your rightness and Your justice).
    15O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
    16For You delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it; You find no pleasure in burnt offering.(C)
    17My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.
    18Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
    19Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then bullocks will be offered upon Your altar.

Good Morning Today is Friday 10.29.2010

Today’s topic is Psalm 23. The Lord is the one you can count on when all else is falling down around you. He places you in a safe place. He Restores your Soul. How Good he is to us here of Earth how much better is it going to be in Heaven. Make no mistake the enemy of your soul will not just roll over and play dead. Even though he is defeated he still has some fight left in him. He is kind of dumb he needs to read the end of the book. He loses. BIG TIME. Can I get an Amen!

Today we have the honor of a book review.The title of the book is
“THE FINAL QUEST” BY RICK JOYNER OF MORNINGSTAR MINISTRIES
as reviewed by a friend of mine Annette Baggett.
Please take the time to read her review and you just might want to pick up a copy of Rick’s book.
Blessings on ya all,
Gary

BOOK REVIEW By Annette Baggett

“THE FINAL QUEST”
BY RICK JOYNER OF MORNINGSTAR MINISTRIES

The book begins with the clash of two armies. The Army of the Lord and the army of Satan. It begins with lots of symbolism, but easy to understand. As he progresses upward he (Rick) encounters angels and heavenly beings. He enters a great hall in Heaven and begins to make his way to the Judgment Seat of Christ. As he makes his way he encounters different people, some he had known on Earth. With each encounter, he learns more about himself. He gives detailed descriptions of the places he sees and the people he meets. He has conversations with the Lord
concerning what He is doing in the Church and The Last Great Battle. You will feel as if you are with him on this wonderful journey.
This book is the gradual unfolding of a prophetic dream-vision that Rick received in the ‘90’s.Submitted By: Annette Baggett

Beautiful Saviour

Hi, Today is Thursday 10.28.2010

Do you know just how much God loves you?
We say yes I know and quickly pass it off and move on to the next topic because it makes us uncomfortable to speak about it.
But God wants us to know just how much he loves us.
Below is a psalm we can us to help is to understand the depth of His love for us.

Psalm 25:4-7 (New Living Translation) Adapted for use as a prayer

 4 Show Gary the right path, O Lord;
      point out the road for me to follow.
 5 Lead Gary by your truth and teach me,
      for you are the God who saves Gary.
      All day long I put my hope in you.
 6 Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love,
      which you have shown from long ages past.
 7 Do not remember the rebellious sins of Gary’s youth.
      Remember Gary in the light of your unfailing love,
      for you are merciful, O Lord.

You can put your name in place if mine. God will not mind neither will I.

Thank You Papa for choosing to see me justified (Just if I had never done it) and worthy to be Loved.

 4 Show me the right path, O Lord;
      point out the road for me to follow.
 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me,
      for you are the God who saves me.
      All day long I put my hope in you.
 6 Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love,

Psalm 31

Psalm 31

 1In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
 2Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
 3For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
 4Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
 5Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
 6I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
 7I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
 8And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
 9Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
 10For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
 11I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
 12I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
 13For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
 14But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
 15My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
 16Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
 17Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
 18Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
 19Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
 20Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
 21Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
 22For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
 23O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
 24Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

But let us learn to live with honor and let our yes be yes and our no be no.

Psalm 15

Psalm 15

A Psalm of David.
 1 LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
         Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

 2 He who walks uprightly,
         And works righteousness,
         And speaks the truth in his heart;
 3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,
         Nor does evil to his neighbor,
         Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
         But he honors those who fear the LORD;
         He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
 5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
         Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.

         He who does these things shall never be moved.

Casting Crowns Praise You In The Storm

Psalm 35 (with text - press on more info.)

Psalm 35

Psalm 35

A Psalm of David.
 1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with those who strive with me;
         Fight against those who fight against me.
 2 Take hold of shield and buckler,
         And stand up for my help.
 3 Also draw out the spear,
         And stop those who pursue me.
         Say to my soul,
         “I am your salvation.”

 4 Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor
         Who seek after my life;
         Let those be turned back and brought to confusion
         Who plot my hurt.
 5 Let them be like chaff before the wind,
         And let the angel[a] of the LORD chase them.
 6 Let their way be dark and slippery,
         And let the angel of the LORD pursue them.
 7 For without cause they have hidden their net for me in a pit,
         Which they have dug without cause for my life.
 8 Let destruction come upon him unexpectedly,
         And let his net that he has hidden catch himself;
         Into that very destruction let him fall.

 9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD;
         It shall rejoice in His salvation.
 10 All my bones shall say,
         “LORD, who is like You,
         Delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him,
         Yes, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him?”

 11 Fierce witnesses rise up;
         They ask me things that I do not know.
 12 They reward me evil for good,
         To the sorrow of my soul.
 13 But as for me, when they were sick,
         My clothing was sackcloth;
         I humbled myself with fasting;
         And my prayer would return to my own heart.
 14 I paced about as though he were my friend or brother;
         I bowed down heavily, as one who mourns for his mother.

 15 But in my adversity they rejoiced
         And gathered together;
         Attackers gathered against me,
         And I did not know it;
         They tore at me and did not cease;
 16 With ungodly mockers at feasts
         They gnashed at me with their teeth.

 17 Lord, how long will You look on?
         Rescue me from their destructions,
         My precious life from the lions.
 18 I will give You thanks in the great assembly;
         I will praise You among many people.

 19 Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies;
         Nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.
 20 For they do not speak peace,
         But they devise deceitful matters
         Against the quiet ones in the land.
 21 They also opened their mouth wide against me,
         And said, “Aha, aha!
         Our eyes have seen it.

 22 This You have seen, O LORD;
         Do not keep silence.
         O Lord, do not be far from me.
 23 Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication,
         To my cause, my God and my Lord.
 24 Vindicate me, O LORD my God, according to Your righteousness;
         And let them not rejoice over me.
 25 Let them not say in their hearts, “Ah, so we would have it!”
         Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.”

 26 Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion
         Who rejoice at my hurt;
         Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor
         Who exalt themselves against me.

 27 Let them shout for joy and be glad,
         Who favor my righteous cause;
         And let them say continually,
         “Let the LORD be magnified,
         Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
 28 And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness
         And of Your praise all the day long.

Psalm 23 Adapted for a prayer for the Cuban underground Church

I had a dream about the Cubin underground Church
Please pray with me for them and for the coming Revival!

Psalm 23 Adapted for a prayer for the Cuban underground Church

1 The LORD is the shepherd; of the Cuban under ground Church
        The Cuban underground Church shall not want.

 2 He makes the Cuban underground Church to lie down in green pastures;
         He leads the Cuban underground Church beside the still waters.
 3 He restores there soul;
         He leads them in the paths of righteousness
         For His name’s sake.

 4 Yea, though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
         They will fear no evil;
         For You are with them;
         Your rod and Your staff, they comfort them.

 5 You prepare a table before the Cuban underground Church) in the presence of there enemies;
         You anoint There head with oil;
         There cup runs over.
 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow the Cuban underground Church)
         All the days of their life;
         And they will dwell in the house of the LORD
         Forever.
Amen

Welcome Today is Monday 10.25.2010

Today we want to speak about how we respond when trouble comes knocking at our door. Trouble comes in many forms. The form I want to speak about today is

“Welcome Trouble.”

What? Welcome Trouble?

Yes.

You see when all of a sudden the Lord is bring something to light and you know it is from him because this “Welcome Trouble” is coming from all different directions at the same time and it rings true in you spirit.

Well you say if the Lord is bringing it how is it trouble.

Let me show you what I mean.

I have been asking the Lord for several months this question.

Why some are healed and others are not healed?

I know the price has been paid by the Blood of Jesus. So why am I still sick?

I try to believe but indeed sometimes healings come and sometimes it does not.

Why?

Now all of a sudden I am currently surrounded with Dreams and Teachings on Healing, and here comes the wisdom I asked for…

Why is it that sometimes we are healed and sometimes we are not.

Make no mistake this is “Welcome Trouble”.
Even though you want to know and asked to know, now comes the hard part.

DOING THE WORK!

Sometimes God lets us get sick and tired of being sick and tired. Then He knows you will be more willing to do the hard stuff.

Catch my article: “I am Sick and tired of being Sick and Tired” in the fall 2010 addition of A Fresh word in Season, Coming out soon.

When life gets hard and the storms come, Let us fight on our knees.
David understood this. Check it out in Psalms 20

Psalm 20

Psalm 20

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
 1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble;
         May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary,
         And strengthen you out of Zion;
 3 May He remember all your offerings,
         And accept your burnt sacrifice.  Selah

 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
         And fulfill all your purpose.
 5 We will rejoice in your salvation,
         And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
         May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

 6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
         He will answer him from His holy heaven
         With the saving strength of His right hand.

 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
         But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
 8 They have bowed down and fallen;
         But we have risen and stand upright.

 9 Save, LORD!
         May the King answer us when we call.

Why We Support Israel

Why We Support Israel

Either we believe the word or we do not. I chose to believe. Let’s look at Gods Promise to Abram is Genesis 12

1 Now the LORD had said to Abram:
      “Get out of your country,
      From your family
      And from your father’s house,
      To a land that I will show you.

 2 I will make you a great nation;
      I will bless you
      And make your name great;
      And you shall be a blessing.

 3 I will bless those who bless you,
      And I will curse him who curses you;
      And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

I believe that the reason America is a great nation is because of Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

So for this reason we at
A Fresh Word in Season
Fully Support Israel.

Heal our Land

As we get ready for Sunday Morning Worship of the King of Kings and Lord Of Lords. Let us take time tonight to perpair our hearts and ready our Spirit.

funny animals

Have a Fuun Day!

Good Morning it is Saturday 10.23.2010

 This is the day the Lord has made so let us rejoice, give thanks for it and enjoy what He gave us.

Today we are still working on Psalm 37

We do not need to be afraid of what people say or think, as long as we are lined up in the spirit with the Holy Spirit. In Psalms 37:3-5 states:

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
         Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
         And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

 5 Commit your way to the LORD,
         Trust also in Him,
         And He shall bring it to pass.

We must commit our ways to the Lord. It is more than just a good idea to stay focused. We must dwell in His word day and night. In other words think on what is good and right. We cannot control the thoughts that come to our minds but we can choose what we will think about. If a thought comes contrary to the word of God then just drop it and think on what God is speaking to you. Psalms 37:12-13 tells us that

12 The wicked plots against the just,
         And gnashes at him with his teeth.
 13 The Lord laughs at him,
         For He sees that his day is coming.

So there is no use in getting all worked up and spending the effort, Just do as God dose and laugh at them, after all laughter is good like a medicine.

So may the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all day long. Amen!

Pastor Marquez The Attack of the Enemy Psalm 37

Psalm 37 - Jas Knight feat. Shai Linne

Pslam 37

Psalm 37

A Psalm of David.
 1 Do not fret because of evildoers,
         Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
         And wither as the green herb.

 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
         Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
         And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

 5 Commit your way to the LORD,
         Trust also in Him,
         And He shall bring it to pass.
 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
         And your justice as the noonday.

 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;
         Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
         Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
         Do not fret—it only causes harm.

 9 For evildoers shall be cut off;
         But those who wait on the LORD,
         They shall inherit the earth.
 10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
         Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,
         But it shall be no more.
 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth,
         And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

 12 The wicked plots against the just,
         And gnashes at him with his teeth.
 13 The Lord laughs at him,
         For He sees that his day is coming.
 14 The wicked have drawn the sword
         And have bent their bow,
         To cast down the poor and needy,
         To slay those who are of upright conduct.
 15 Their sword shall enter their own heart,
         And their bows shall be broken.

 16 A little that a righteous man has
         Is better than the riches of many wicked.
 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
         But the LORD upholds the righteous.

 18 The LORD knows the days of the upright,
         And their inheritance shall be forever.
 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
         And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
 20 But the wicked shall perish;
         And the enemies of the LORD,
         Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.
         Into smoke they shall vanish away.

 21 The wicked borrows and does not repay,
         But the righteous shows mercy and gives.
 22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,
         But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
         And He delights in his way.
 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
         For the LORD upholds him with His hand.

 25 I have been young, and now am old;
         Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
         Nor his descendants begging bread.
 26 He is ever merciful, and lends;
         And his descendants are blessed.

 27 Depart from evil, and do good;
         And dwell forevermore.
 28 For the LORD loves justice,
         And does not forsake His saints;
         They are preserved forever,
         But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
 29 The righteous shall inherit the land,
         And dwell in it forever.

 30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom,
         And his tongue talks of justice.
 31 The law of his God is in his heart;
         None of his steps shall slide.

 32 The wicked watches the righteous,
         And seeks to slay him.
 33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand,
         Nor condemn him when he is judged.

 34 Wait on the LORD,
         And keep His way,
         And He shall exalt you to inherit the land;
         When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
 35 I have seen the wicked in great power,
         And spreading himself like a native green tree.
 36 Yet he passed away,[a] and behold, he was no more;
         Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.

 37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright;
         For the future of that man is peace.
 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together;
         The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

 39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;
         He is their strength in the time of trouble.
 40 And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;
         He shall deliver them from the wicked,
         And save them,
         Because they trust in Him.

Todays Thought

Let not the hand of the wicked remove us from the path God has set for us. Only in His Light can we see the path he has set before us. The enemy has come to steal it away from us. When God gives us something then we need to meditate on it day and night till we make it a part of our being.

I like the way Pastor Marquez Steadfast puts it.

Psalm 36 and 37:1-9

Psalm 36 and 37:1-9
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD.

1 An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked:
         There is no fear of God before his eyes.
 2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
         When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates.
 3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
         He has ceased to be wise and to do good.
 4 He devises wickedness on his bed;
         He sets himself in a way that is not good;
         He does not abhor evil.

 5 Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens;
         Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
 6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains;
         Your judgments are a great deep;
         O LORD, You preserve man and beast.

 7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
         Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
 8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
         And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
 9 For with You is the fountain of life;
         In Your light we see light.

 10 Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
         And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.
 11 Let not the foot of pride come against me,
         And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
 12 There the workers of iniquity have fallen;
         They have been cast down and are not able to rise.

Psalm 37
A Psalm of David.
 1 Do not fret because of evildoers,
         Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
         And wither as the green herb.

 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
         Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
         And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

 5 Commit your way to the LORD,
         Trust also in Him,
         And He shall bring it to pass.
 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
         And your justice as the noonday.

 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;
         Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
         Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
         Do not fret—it only causes harm.

 9 For evildoers shall be cut off;
         But those who wait on the LORD,
         They shall inherit the earth.
