A major blizzard is moving across the U.S.

A major blizzard/bad weather front is moving across the U.S. I believe the "death" can be taken out of a system like this by the prayers of the people in the affected areas.

1. I encourage you to pray, especially for your area, to be spared loss of life.

2. If you believe this is from the Lord, let anyone in affected areas other than the one you live in know they should stand in prayer against loss of life.

A Word From Our Friend Pat

Everything we desire is already here. If you desire health, it is here for you. If you desire wealth, it is here for you. If you desire a new job, it is here for you. If you desire a new home, it is here for you. You may ask, if all that I desire is here for me, why can't I see it? All we desire is here in the Spirit. We cannot see things in the Spirit with our physical eye. That's like trying to hear a FM station with an AM radio. They are on different "wave lengths." The devil knows he has to keep us looking and hearing with our physical senses so we would not even realize the power and wealth we possess in our Spirit. We can sharpen our" Spiritual Senses "through prayer and reading the Bible. Our spirits hunger for the word and the fellowship with God. When we neglect prayer and reading of the Word, our spirits become "starved" for its spiritual nourishment. Today, let us spend more time in prayer and meditating the Word of God.

Psalm 119:57-64
ח
Heth
 57 You are my portion, LORD;
   I have promised to obey your words.
58 I have sought your face with all my heart;
   be gracious to me according to your promise.
59 I have considered my ways
   and have turned my steps to your statutes.
60 I will hasten and not delay
   to obey your commands.
61 Though the wicked bind me with ropes,
   I will not forget your law.
62 At midnight I rise to give you thanks
   for your righteous laws.
63 I am a friend to all who fear you,
   to all who follow your precepts.
64 The earth is filled with your love, LORD;
   teach me your decrees.

Psalms 119:57-64
True believers take the Lord for the portion of their inheritance, and nothing less will satisfy them.
The psalmist prayed with his whole heart, knowing how to value the blessing he prayed for: he desired the mercy promised, and depended on the promise for it.
He turned from by-paths, and returned to God's testimonies.
He delayed not.
It behooves sinners to hasten to escape; and the believer will be equally in haste to glorify God.
No care or grief should take away God's word out of our minds, or hinder the comfort it bestows.
There is no situation on earth in which a believer has not cause to be thankful.
Let us feel ashamed that others are more willing to keep from sleep to spend the time in sinful pleasures, than we are to praise God.
And we should be more earnest in prayer, that our hearts may be filled with his mercy, grace, and peace.
