Iron Shapring Iron by Brian Johnston

We never win when we lie, even a little "white lie".......whatever that is.....even though we have ALL lied, even if we didn't get caught by someone, we were caught by God.......as for the money thing.....how many of us have ever thought if we only won the lottery, what we could do for the kingdom of God  ;)  .................but God knows what we need each day and what we do not need each day, and He provides for it all.......the WORST thing we could ever do is dishonor God with what we have or what we do not have......we should glorify God by doing the best we can with what He has provided.

"Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD ?'  Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."   Proverbs 30:7-9

Psalm 29 (21st Century King James Version)

Psalm 29

Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty; give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth; the LORD is upon many waters.

4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6He maketh them also to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the Wilderness of Kadesh.

9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests, and in His temple doth every one speak of His glory.

10The LORD sitteth over the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.

11The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace.

Moral Benefits of Wisdom
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
   and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
8 for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.
9 Then you will understand what is right and just
   and fair—every good path.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Discretion will protect you,
   and understanding will guard you.
12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
13 who have left the straight paths
   to walk in dark ways,
14 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,
15 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.
16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words,
17 who has left the partner of her youth
and ignored the covenant she made before God.[a]
18 Surely her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.
19 None who go to her return
or attain the paths of life.
20 Thus you will walk in the ways of the good
and keep to the paths of the righteous.
21 For the upright will live in the land,
   and the blameless will remain in it;
22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land,
and the unfaithful will be torn from it.
