I am earnestly expecting you to meet us there.

I know you will.

Jesus said you would always be here with me.

Thanks for coming, things are getting a little crazy here on earth and we sure could use your help.

So we are doing everything we can think of to get ready.

Yes we cleaned the building and even the restrooms.

We even got new lights in the parking lot in expiation of your coming.

I know you have been busy in Mobile Alabama.
We are just a little north on Hwy 431.

Remember hi-way 431.

You have spoken about how you would come up the Holy Hwy.

We are as ready as we can be,

Oh Come Holy Spirit like you said you would.

I am looking forward to introducing you to all my friends.

Your servant,
Gary Miller

FRESH FIRE - Don Moen (With Lyrics)

Proverbs 8 (with text - press on more info.)

‘Twas the night before Jesus came

'Twas the night before Jesus came - all through the house

Not a creature was praying, no one in the house.

Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care

In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed,,

Not once ever kneeling or bowing their head

And Mom in her rocker with baby in her lap

Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter

I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter

Away to the window I flew like a flash

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear

But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here

With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray

I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light on His face made me cover my head

It was Jesus! Returning, just like He had said

And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth

I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which He held in His hand

Was written the name of every saved man

He spoke not a word as He searched for my name:

When He said "It's not here", my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love

He gathered to take to His Father above.

With those who were ready He rose with no sound

While all of the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late:

I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.

I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight:

Oh, if only I had also been ready tonight…

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear:

The coming of Jesus is drawing near

There's only one life and when comes the last call

We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

Psalm 19

Psalm 19 (The Message)

A David Psalm
1-2 God's glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon.
Madame Day holds classes every morning,
      Professor Night lectures each evening.

 3-4 Their words aren't heard,
      their voices aren't recorded,
But their silence fills the earth:
      unspoken truth is spoken everywhere.

4-5 God makes a huge dome
      for the sun—a superdome!
The morning sun's a new husband
      leaping from his honeymoon bed,
   The daybreaking sun an athlete
      racing to the tape.

6 That's how God's Word vaults across the skies
      from sunrise to sunset,
   Melting ice, scorching deserts,
      warming hearts to faith.

7-9 The revelation of God is whole
      and pulls our lives together.
The signposts of God are clear
and point out the right road.
The life-maps of God are right,
      showing the way to joy.
The directions of God are plain
      and easy on the eyes.
   God's reputation is twenty-four-carat gold,
      with a lifetime guarantee.
The decisions of God are accurate
      down to the nth degree.

10 God's Word is better than a diamond,
better than a diamond set between emeralds.
You'll like it better than strawberries in spring,
      better than red, ripe strawberries.

11-14 There's more: God's Word warns us of danger
and directs us to hidden treasure.
Otherwise how will we find our way?
Or know when we play the fool?
Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh!
      Keep me from stupid sins,
      from thinking I can take over your work;
Then I can start this day sun-washed,
scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.
   These are the words in my mouth;
these are what I chew on and pray.
Accept them when I place them
      on the morning altar,
   O God, my Altar-Rock,
      God, Priest-of-My-Altar.
