For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my

given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of
righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and
one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go
to look for the one that wandered off ? And if he finds it, I tell
you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine
that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is
not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice
and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they

thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never
thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water
welling up to eternal life."

life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his
cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose
it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save
it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit
his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a
doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance."
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they
may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor
and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for
those who persecute you,
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do
to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the
first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love
your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on
these two commandments."

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is
plentiful but the workers are few.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for
my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more
gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is
impossible, but with God all things are possible."
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is
finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
