From the Rising of the Sun

Verse 1From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same
Let the name of the Lord be praised, the Lord is to be praised (repeat)
CHORUSWho is like the Lord our God, mighty in mercy, great is your mercy ( 2x’s)
Now and forever more, forever more
Verse 2I will rise and meet the dawn, with the harp and lyre I’ll sing
For exalted is the Lord, the Lord Most High is King (repeat)
Chorus
Bridge
And You have raised the poor out of the dust
And You have given the One whom we can trust
Yeshua, Yeshua, Yeshua, Messiah, Redeemer, we lift up Your name
Verse 3From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same
Let the name of the Lord be praised, the Lord is to be praised
I will rise and meet the dawn, with the harp and lyre I’ll sing
For exalted is the Lord, the Lord Most High is King
Last ChorusWho is like the Lord our God, mighty in mercy, great is your mercy (2x’s)
Who is like the Lord our God (3 x’s)
(Ps.113:3-7)
Did you ever have a morning when you’d rather pull the covers over your head than face the day?  I was having on of those mornings when this song was written.  Sometimes we just have to decide to praise the Lord, even when our circumstances and feelings don’t want to!  There’s nothing like the power of praise and worship to jumpstart your day!
