Psalm 91 (21st Century King James Version)
Psalm 91
2I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust."
3Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day,
6nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that layeth waste at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation,
10there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample underfoot.
14"Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation."

Proverbs 3
2for length of days and long life and peace shall they add to thee.
3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee; bind them about thy neck, write them upon the tablet of thine heart.
4So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding;
6in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
7Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil.
8It shall be health to thy flesh and marrow to thy bones.
9Honor the LORD with thy substance and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD, neither be weary of His correction;
12for whom the LORD loveth, He correcteth, even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom and the man that getteth understanding;
14for the merchandising of it is better than the merchandising of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15She is more precious than rubies, and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared to her.
16Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and honor.
17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her, and happy is everyone that retaineth her.
19The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath He established the heavens;
20by His knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
21My son, let not these depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion;
22so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace around thy neck.
23Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble;
24when thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid; yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
25Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh;
26for the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being snared.
27Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
28Say not unto thy neighbor, "Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give," when thou hast it with thee.
29Devise not evil against thy neighbor, seeing he dwelleth securely beside thee.
30Strive not with a man without cause if he has done thee no harm.
31Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways;
32for the froward is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret is with the righteous.
33The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but He blesseth the habitation of the just.
34Surely He scorneth the scorners, but He giveth grace unto the lowly.
35The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

We never win when we lie, even a little "white lie".......whatever that is.....even though we have ALL lied, even if we didn't get caught by someone, we were caught by God.......as for the money thing.....how many of us have ever thought if we only won the lottery, what we could do for the kingdom of God ;) .................but God knows what we need each day and what we do not need each day, and He provides for it all.......the WORST thing we could ever do is dishonor God with what we have or what we do not have......we should glorify God by doing the best we can with what He has provided.
"Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD ?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God." Proverbs 30:7-9

A quote from my friend Pat Alexander
God has given us His Holy Spirit and "sealed {us} for the day of redemption" (Ephesians 4:30). Let's be confident in God's promise. We must continue to draw closer and give Him more of our heart, but we must also remember that we are His and He WILL finish the work He began. Our Heavenly Father has saved us AND promised to carry us to completion
Good Morning: Today is 11.01.2010 All Saints Day
In the traditional churches this day has many meanings. I want to set all that aside and look back on my spiritual heritage. As I do you can ponder yours and see just how many Christ like people were in your past. My First thought goes back to my grandmother Miller she was born a Nailer in the Hills of Kentucky (to the best of my knowledge.) She was a wonderful singer. I use to ask her to sing but she was shy and only did it when she thought no one could hear but God. She was a good bible reader and often when I would come to her home I would see her with her bible in her lap sitting in her rocking chair. Then there were times I saw all my Aunts sitting around the table and talking about the bible and looking for answers to family problems. Sometimes at night she would have her hair down and it was long- it reached all the way down past her hips. Normally she wore it up in a bun. I sure loved her she was very excepting and never judging me. Any way this is my Godly heritage a praying Grandmother she was not perfect but neither is anyone else. Remember Peter (I believe) fell in the water because he took his eyes of Jesus.
So for today let us rejoice and be glad for our Godly heritage in our family and country. If you would like to share your Godly heritage feal free to do so in the comments section. I look forward to reading about them.

Purpose and Theme
1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: 2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;

knowledge and discretion to the young—

Welcome: This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be Glad in it. 10.30.2010
Today I am writing about Psalm 25. I want (we should all want) to be so much in love with God that we would willingly do anything for Him. The love I am speaking about is the worship and adoration of God.
Oh God help us to be so in love with you we would go anywhere and do anything for you. We love you. We want to love you more we want all you have to offer. Father we want everything that is available to us. Help us get to that point. I want to be in tune with you, to hear and anticipate you thoughts. Amen
